Attorneys join LRS panels by certifying their area(s) of practice, completing an application and agreement to comply with rules and law, and paying an annual membership fee.
Participating attorneys return to LRS a portion of any fees paid by clients to help support legal services operations of NCLA, a non-profit, tax exempt organization.
An annual fee of $100 allows the attorney to choose three practice areas plus family law. Any additional practice areas are $25 each. An experience questionnaire must be completed for each practice area and submitted with the application.
Referrals are made on a rotational basis in practice areas.
Attorneys certify that they will also forward 10 percent of fees over $300 to LRS.
